This past Sunday the 12th the Kearney high girls bowling team finished their amazing run taking their first state title in school history.

Behind a 5-4 record for the season and a fantastic final round performance from Crystal Hartman (144, 142, 202 for 488 series) the Bearcat girls stun number one ranked Grand Island to take the victory.

This is the first time in school history that the girls squad has made it past the 2nd round.

Congratulations go out to the Bearcat Girls for beating defending champion Grand Island!
