Nebraska head coach Mike Riley announced yesterday that junior Tanner Lee will be the top quarterback heading into summer workouts, but that the competition is still on-going.
Lee, a transfer from Tulane who sat out last season, was locked in a battle this spring with redshirt freshman Patrick O'Brien. The duo split time with the top offense during the spring. In Saturday's Red-White game, Lee completed 13-of-19 passes for 190 yards and three touchdowns. O'Brien completed 11-of-17 passes for 134 yards and one touchdown.
