Kearney, Neb (KGFW) – That ever-popular question, what would you do for $1 million? How about chicken for a year?
That’s what is on the line for a select few who are braving a cold Nebraska fall night, the chance for chicken for a year.
Raising Cane’s, a fast food company that started in Louisiana back in 1996, has finally come to Kearney. The new store opens on November 1st to much fanfare. The first 100 people in line all get a t-shirt along with a free combo box. For 20 lucky members of that first 100, they score an even better prize: Chicken for a year.
A few of the campers mentioned that it was cold but worth it, a 1-in-5 chance, after all, is better odds than you can find most places.
One camper, in particular, said that it was “an opportunity to do something fun, something you don’t get to do every day”.
Good luck to you intrepid campers, and may chicken bless your stomach all year long.
