Huskers Release Mobile App, Will Utilize Contactless Game Entry

By News Jul 6, 2020 | 2:31 PM

The COVID-19 pandemic has created greater awareness about contact with others, and that awareness will now extend to Husker game days.

Nebraska Athletics announced the release of a new mobile app which will include built-in mobile ticketing. This built-in feature will allow fans to access their tickets and parking passes via their mobile device.

Although no decision has been made on capacity for Nebraska home events yet, entry into all Husker venues will be contactless beginning this fall. Because of this added safety measure, no printed season or single-game tickets will be mailed out this year. Accounts that requested mail delivery for season tickets will receive credit to be applied 2-3 weeks before the season, with $10 for mail delivery and $15 for UPS delivery.

The announcement adds that souvenir tickets for football will be available in the official football game day program.

Fans can also continue to access their tickets and parking by visiting huskers.com/myaccount.

The app, available in both the App Store and Google Play Store, also features a customized user experience, score alerts, live stats, photo galleries, and podcasts among the numerous features. Fans with the current Husker App will need to simply update to the latest version, while new users can visit huskers.com/mobileapp for a direct link.
