The Big Ten Conference has 10-days to disclose additional information related to its decision to postpone fall sports. That according to a ruling in Lancaster County district court Wednesday. The order comes less than a week after eight Nebraska football players sued the league on multiple counts for the decision to postpone fall sports. According to the ruling, the Big Ten must produce all documents reflecting whether an official vote was taken, including the official tally but not including how individual members voted. They must also reveal in full its governing documents and bylaws – it submitted 13 pages of bylaws to the court last week but redacted more than 11 full pages.

An Athlon analysis gives Scott Frost good marks when it comes to gaining and retaining top talent. Using individual recruit ratings of the 247Sports Composite Index, Frost’s three groups of signees totaled 75 players, 23 of those being 4-star prospects. This averages out to almost eight per recruiting cycle. Looking over the quality of classes signed during the past three Nebraska head coaching eras, Frost boasts the best ranking on average at 20th nationally. Mike Riley’s classes checked in at 26th and Bo Pelini’s is 28th.

UNO has placed four of its sports teams in quarantine after 13 athletes tested positive for COVID-19. The four teams in quarantine are men’s basketball, women’s softball, men’s baseball and women’s volleyball.

Millard North’s Hunter Sallis has jumped 19 spots to No. 6 in the latest 247Sports ratings released Wednesday. He’s the first Nebraska high school basketball player to earn a top-10 nod since online recruiting rankings started in the early 2000s. He is also the first five-star prospect to come out of the state, and is now ranked 8th in the nation in the 247Sports composite — a ranking that combines the three major services (Rivals, 247 and ESPN). The 6-foot-4, 170-pound senior guard has narrowed his list of suitors to 12: Alabama, Auburn, Creighton, Gonzaga, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, North Carolina, Oregon and UCLA.

No cases of COVID-19 transmitted through playing in high school football games have been reported to the National Federation of State High School Associations. The group oversees 17 state high school sports associations including Nebraska.
