The University of Nebraska is continuing preparations for this Saturday’s scheduled game between the Huskers and Wisconsin Badgers, even as a report Tuesday afternoon suggested the game could be in jeopardy because of positive COVID-19 tests at Wisconsin. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Wisconsin is nearing the positivity thresholds set out by the Big Ten that would force the program to pause practice and competition for a minimum of seven days. No official decision has been made on the status of the game. The Huskers host the Badgers this Saturday at 2:30 on KGFW and Hits 106.

The Big Ten Conference announced Monday morning that Nebraska’s Nov. 7th game at Northwestern will kick off at 11:00 a.m. CT, and will be televised on BTN.

Four current members of the Tri-City Storm (Matthew Knies, Guillaume Richard, Hunter Strand, Grant Riley) and two Storm prospects (Shane LaChance, Nate Benoit) have been named to the NHL’s Central Scouting Bureau’s “Players to Watch” list for the 2021 NHL Draft. Five former Storm players were selected at the 2020 NHL Draft earlier this month. The 2021 NHL Draft will be held following the completion of the 2020-2021 NHL season next summer, with the date and location to be announced at a later date. Currently 4-0 in exhibition play, the Storm will travel Ralston Thursday for a Corn Cup matchup with the Omaha Lancers.
