Suspects apprehended in Kearney Armed Robbery case

KEARNEY, Neb. – The following is from the Kearney Police Department:

At approximately 4:22 p.m. on Friday, March 26, officers of the Kearney Police Department were called to the area of the 1400 block of 16th avenue to investigate an armed robbery.

Following a traffic stop, three male suspects were detained.

An 18-year-old male and 17-year-old male have both been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a 14-year-old male. Caleb McKeon (18) was arrested for: Robbery, Use of a Firearm to Commit a Felony, Terroristic Threats, Distribution of a Controlled Substance, and Prohibited Acts. A 17-year-old was also arrested for: Robbery and Terroristic Threats. Both are currently being held at the Buffalo County Jail.
