By News Apr 2, 2021 | 7:30 AM

LINCOLN, Neb. (KGFW) – Nebraska’s Doug Peterson, and 44 other state attorney’s general, have called on Twitter, eBay, and Shopify, to act immediately to prevent the sale of fraudulent CDC vaccination cards on their platforms. According to a joint letter to the companies released yesterday, listings for fraudulent vaccination cards have appeared on the sites.

Gov. Pete Ricketts is scheduled to receive his COVID vaccine Saturday afternoon. His office said yesterday that Ricketts had previously signed up through the state’s registration website and was notified earlier this week that he was eligible for an appointment.

23.3% of Nebraskans 16 and up have now completed COVID vaccination. A link to the state’s registration website can be found on our coronavirus information page at KGFW.com.

120 active COVID patients were reported yesterday — 2.9% of statewide hospital capacity. 2,181 have died.
