GIBBON, Neb. (KGFW) – A man was arrested Sunday afternoon after a clerk at the Minden I-80 exit gas station reported that the man jumped the counter, shoved him out of the way, and grabbed cash from the register – before speeding off in a silver sedan without license plates.

The Buffalo County Sheriff’s office says a state trooper pulled the suspect over and made the arrest after spotting the car west of Kearney. He was identified in a BCSO press release only as a 21-year-old Lincoln man.

An undisclosed amount of cash was found in the car.

No injuries were reported during the robbery or arrest.

The Game and Parks Commission and Kearney Police Dept. also assisted.

According to the public inmate roster, two individuals were booked into the Buffalo County Jail on Sunday. 21-year-old Jeremy Anderson booked on a robbery charge.
